Bassegoda

Bassegoda. To the west of l’Alt Empordà, in the Natural Protected Area of l’Alta Garrotxa, the Bassegoda massif (1.373m) rises with its iconic pointy shape and its huge calcareous rock formation at the top. These two characteristics and the fact that it is relatively isolated from nearby summits, make it easily identifiable from almost anywhere of l’Alt Empordà. In fact, it is believed that the place name Bassegoda comes from the euskera basa (dry, desertic) and goiti (summit); Basagoiti meaning “desertic summit”, making reference to its natural characteristic of being a rocky vantage point with excellent panoramic views.

General information

The minimum stay is two nights

Dogs are allowed in two of our rooms, so it is necessary to notify them if you come with one.

We do not offer half-board room, but we have a restaurant where you can eat our menus (during low season weekdays is it possible that the restaurant is closed)

There is no daily room service; however, if you need anything to be changed or replaced, you should let us know. If you are here for a long stay, once you have arrived, we will agree on the clean-up days.

There is no need to pay nothing in advance. Cancellations, in general, are free and we believe in the value of words.
